Welcome to REV'D

As I sat patiently watching a train pass I noticed that the majority of the cars had been “tagged” with graffiti. I began wondering why we humans feel so strongly that we must leave our mark on this world. What I came up with is it is because we need to let people know we were here.

Walking through a grave yard I noticed the dates on a tombstone; 1927-1990. For many the mark we leave is the dash between two dates.

Maybe that is what this blog is about . . . leaving my mark somehow.

Your Mission

One of my favorite movies is the classic “Blues Brothers.” In the movie they used the phrase, “We are on a mission from God.” Well, aren’t we all? Aren’t we all on assignment?

I love the quote from Margarita Trevino, “The discovery of our assignment and our submission of that assignment to God's perfect will are the most important steps in the journey we call life."

Ask God for clear direction of your assignment. Then proceed with gusto. . .after all, you’re on a mission from God.
